Food and Drinks With Soho, Covent Garden, and King’s Cross on our doorstep, you can take full advantage of London’s shops, restaurants and bars. However, University Student Bars and food outlets tend to be cheaper than other non-student bars in London, so they are always a good location when you're looking to save some money. They're also great spots to meet other students and get to know your fellow Birkbeckians, as well as students from surrounding institutions such as UCL and SOAS.

The University offers a free, non-judgemental and confidential counselling service with assessment and up to five further counselling sessions to support you with emotional and psychological difficulties that are affecting your experience and engagement with your studies at university.
